Abstract
Selecting an appropriate healthcare delivery model is important for improving the quality of healthcare services and enhancing patient satisfaction. However, this decision is complex because it involves several criteria, uncertainty, and different expert opinions. To handle this uncertainty, this paper uses Interval-Valued Spherical Fuzzy Sets (IVSFSs), which allow experts to express their evaluations more flexibly. This paper proposes an integrated interval-valued spherical fuzzy CRITIC-WASPAS approach to prioritize healthcare delivery models. The CRITIC method is used to determine the objective weights of the evaluation criteria, while the WASPAS method is used to rank the healthcare delivery models. Expert evaluations are expressed using linguistic terms and aggregated using the Interval-Valued Spherical Weighted Arithmetic Mean (IVSWAM) operator. The proposed method is applied to eleven healthcare delivery models evaluated according to twenty-seven sub-criteria grouped under six main criteria. The evaluations are provided by five experts. The results show that Patient-Centered Care (A3) is the highest-ranked model, followed by Standard Clinical Care (A1), indicating their strong potential to support patient satisfaction. To examine the reliability of the results, sensitivity analyses are performed by changing the WASPAS combination parameter and applying ±10% variations to the criteria weights. The rankings remain highly stable across the different scenarios. In addition, the results are compared with those obtained using TOPSIS, EDAS, and VIKOR, showing a high level of agreement among the methods. Overall, the findings demonstrate that the proposed IVSFS-based CRITIC-WASPAS approach provides a reliable and practical tool for prioritizing healthcare delivery models with the aim of enhancing patient satisfaction. It also demonstrates the utility of decision-making framework for tackling uncertainty in healthcare delivery models.
